SUMMARY:Halloween Festival
DESCRIPTION:NO RAIN DATE IF INCLEMENT WEATHER! \nCome to the CCV Park and enjoy the Spooky Trail and games! All are welcome to come dressed in a costume for this Halloween Festival! \nCCVCA members are encouraged to participate in the home decorating and pumpkin carving competitions — make our neighborhood a spooktacular place to visit for Halloween! \n* To participate in the home decorating and/or pumpkin carving contests\, email at least one photo of your entry to Thomas.mccurdy89@gmail.com by noon on Saturday\, October 26\, 2024. You may submit both a daytime and a nighttime photo to best show your home decorations and/or carved pumpkin(s).\n* A station will be set up if you want to bring your own pumpkin and carve it at the festival. If you plan to submit your on-site carved pumpkin for the contest\, please note the voting begins at 3:00 pm.\n* Voting on home decorations and pumpkins (submitted photos and carved on-site) will be done at the festival from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. There will be no voting on Facebook this year. The winner of each competition will receive a prize and be given a sign to put in their yard the first two weeks of November.\n* Spooky Trail participants must sign up on-site to be led by a guide. Groups of about 10 participants will be called from the list and then staggered to maximize fun for everyone involved.\n* Yard games\, prize wheel\, selfie station\, yummy treats\, and spooky music will make the festival a memorable event for all! \nVolunteers should meet in the park at 12:30 pm to set up.\nCostume Parade — Arrive at 2:55 pm and Line Up at 3:00; Parade Begins at 3:05.\nContacts: Sherrie Brady and TJ McCurdy.
