The mission of the Fairfax County Farmers Markets is to provide residents access to locally grown products and create market opportunities for area farmers and food producers. \nThe markets are strictly producer-only\, meaning that all of the farmers and producers may only sell what they raise on their farms or make from scratch. We encourage our vendors to use local ingredients in the creation of their products as much as possible. Our farmers and producers all come from within a 125-mile radius of Fairfax County\, with a few exceptions for hard-to-find products. \nFarmers Market: Burke Location

SUMMARY:Stream Cleanup
DESCRIPTION:On April 18\, 2026\, the CCV Stream Cleanup will be held from 9:00 am – 10:30 am. Celebrate Earth Day (April 22) by showing some love for our local stream\, Sideburn branch of Pohick Creek! Please join us in reducing the amount of trash in the Country Club View Park stream to prevent it from continuing downstream! Last year there were basketballs\, tennis balls\, tubing\, and even rusty chairs uncovered from the muck and brought out to be collected by the Park Authority. This is a great opportunity for students to earn service hours. \nTwo locations to meet: CCV Park by the tennis courts or the park entrance off of Grinnell Street. Dress appropriately for being in the woods and around the creek–wear gloves\, long pants\, and shoes that can get muddy. CCVCA will provide trash bags for volunteers and treats to enjoy after the cleanup. \nDate subject to change due to weather.
