DESCRIPTION:The 2022 Membership Drive began the first week of January\, and shortly after that all residents received the paper membership application via their block captain. An online application also is available. For 2021 we had 237 members out of 477 homes in Country Club View. We hope that all of you who joined last year will choose to join again this year. Your membership dues are what funds all the great activities throughout the year. Remember that fantastic ice cream social with the really cute alpacas and the face painter? That is only possible with the support of a lot of members. The Board has set a goal of exceeding 250 members this year – so please join and talk to your neighbors about joining\, too!

They will address the following topics relevant to CCV residents. Questions can be submitted in advance to ccvcafx@gmail.com.\n– Quick University Overview\n– Mason response to Covid\n– Reference the University Master Plan and where to find information /presentations\n– Good Neighbor Program\n– Mason Services and Resources\n__________________\nTraci Kendall is the executive director for the Office of Community and Local Government Relations at George Mason University. Ms. Kendall began her career with the university in 1996 and is responsible for the strategic direction of community and local government relations at George Mason University\, including tactical partnership and relationship development\, outreach programs/initiatives\, and regional economic development and multi-jurisdictional collaboration. The mission of the office is to communicate the university’s future plans and current goals and objectives to its various external communities\, develop long term partnerships\, programs\, and information exchange opportunities between the university and its multiple constituencies\, and promote Mason’s resources to external audiences.\nOver the years\, Ms. Kendall has served on the Board of Directors for Leadership Fairfax\, Inc.\, the Central Fairfax Chamber of Commerce\, and Volunteer Fairfax\, as well as serving on a number of boards and commissions for Fairfax County including the Commission for Women\, Millennium Steering Committee\, and the 2007 Jamestown Anniversary Community Programming committee.\nMs. Kendall received her BA in public relations and speech communications at Gonzaga University in Spokane\, WA.\n__________________\nAnthony Berardo has worked extensively in student housing. Over the past ten years\, I have spent eight of them in on-campus student housing with the remaining two working with students to find off-campus housing. I worked for Housing and Residence Life at Wichita State University for four years as a Residence Life Coordinator (building manager) and an additional four years as a number of different building manager positions with George Mason University. Finally\, I have transitioned to a role with Contemporary Student Services working with off-campus students and helping them with their housing needs/concerns.
