Volunteers Needed

Please Contact Us if you would like to learn more about
volunteering for these vacant positions or serving on a committee.

Beautification Committee: promote and oversee beautification activities throughout the neighborhood. Spring is on the horizon, so lots of projects for helping hands! Committee focuses on maintaining the CCVCA neighborhood signs in an attractive manner, overseeing the maintenance of common areas within the neighborhood (includes the Gadsen Drive/University Mall walkway and the park playground area), and recommending areas of the community that need aesthetic attention. Contact: Bill Brewbaker.

Events Committee: responsible for the planning of an annual calendar of community-building events, and for administering all logistics necessary to fulfill the execution of the planned events. Several of the events already have coordinators, but the Memorial Day Ceremony and the Ice Cream Social need new leadership. Ideas for planning current events as well as creating new events are welcome! Contact: Sherrie Brady (retiring) & Seeking New Chair.

Neighborhood Watch: manages matters pertaining to security and emergency services and is staffed by trained volunteers. Watch Standers are given a reminder call the week before they are scheduled for duty. Currently there is a desperate need for individuals and couples willing to patrol the neighborhood for two hours, three times a year. 2025 GOAL: Add 16 new members! Contact: Bob Mizer.

Section Leaders and Block Captains: collectively assist in communicating with CCV residents. One Section Leader and one Block Captain are assigned to every home (there’s 470+) in the neighborhood. Contact: 2nd VPs — Hanan Idilbi & Kellie Quartana.
