Dear Neighbor,
Country Club View (CCV) is a special place. It is a place where neighbors gather around a fire to welcome trick-or-treaters, contribute generously to scholarships to support high school seniors, donate to the Scouts and neighborhood food drives, and make new connections at the Ice Cream Social and other neighborhood events. Country Club View Civic Association’s (CCVCA) volunteer run events continue to be a huge success, and we owe much gratitude to so many volunteers who graciously give their time. Whether it’s serving as a block captain or section leader, volunteering for a neighborhood event, contributing an article to the newsletter, participating in the Neighborhood Watch program, or sprucing up the CCV signs, all our volunteers make CCV a warm and inviting place to live.
We invite neighbors to renew their membership or join anew in 2026. And a special welcome to our new neighbors—we hope you will love CCV as much as we do! In 2025, our CCVCA membership included 210 households, and our goal is to reach even higher membership this year. You can join by returning this application either by mail or in person, or skip the paperwork and securely complete your membership online.
All dues collected go directly into supporting the community through neighborhood social events, Neighborhood Watch, the CCVCA newsletter, and more. All donations benefit the Paul A. Maltagliati Memorial College Scholarship Fund. This scholarship is awarded each spring to outstanding high school graduates from Country Club View who are members in good standing (current dues) and allows us to support the next generation of leaders in our community.
The CCVCA Board of Directors pledges to continue to support and serve our fellow residents—a long-standing commitment since our founding over 50 years ago. Pease submit your annual membership application and join us as we continue strengthening our community in 2026 and beyond.
Sincerely,
Your CCVCA Board
Whether you are renewing your commitment or are considering joining for the first time, please take a moment now to securely submit your 2026 CCVCA Membership Application and pay $20 annual dues via PayPal. (What a deal!) Many also choose to support the Paul A. Maltagliati Memorial College Scholarship Fund awarded each spring to one or more deserving CCV graduates.
The Civic Association seeks to improve our neighborhood through volunteer work performed by its members and monetary donations. CCVCA participation is optional and thus relies on residents to willingly pay a $20 membership fee (unlike Home Owners Associations that require mandatory fees and adherence to rules and regulations). The CCVCA’s primary objectives include preserving the quality of our neighborhood and surrounding areas, as well as promoting the safety, security, and civic spirit of Country Club View. Information provided by the association is one of the best ways to find out what is going on locally in the neighborhood, at school, and with businesses. The Board and Committee Chairs also have contact with county representatives and government agencies in the metropolitan area to keep up with current events that directly affect our community.
Dues go directly to the membership benefits shown below and brought to life by the volunteer leadership of neighbors like you!
The purpose of the CCVCA is to take action on behalf of the welfare and well-being of its members and its community with the following objectives:
COMMUNITY- Hosts neighborhood social events such as the Memorial Day Ceremony, Ice Cream Social, National Night Out, Halloween festivities (Spooky Trail in the park, pumpkin carving, and costume parade), and holiday decorating competitions in October and December.
- Maintains CCVCA website for current and prospective residents.
- Publishes quarterly newsletters (print form or via email for members only) that focuses on news and issues relevant to CCV.
- Publishes a neighborhood membership directory every two years and addendums (print form for current members only).
- Manages our Neighborhood Watch volunteer program (established 1984).

- Manages neighborhood beautification projects, including maintenance and landscaping of the CCV entrance signs.
- Maintains funds for future capital expenses.
- Maintains a network of volunteers as Section Leaders and Block Captains.
- Maintains liaisons with Oak View Elementary, Robinson Secondary School, and George Mason University.
- Sponsors our local Scout Troop 1865 and partners with other scout troops.
- Represents CCV when working with the district, county, and other civic associations.
- Provides a forum to explore community issues such as parks, traffic, parking, and access.
The unity of our neighborhood is strengthened when residents participate.
